About Horizon

Founded in 1987, Horizon Yachts has steadily evolved, weathering the ebb and flow of the world economy, never losing its focus on innovation and technological advancement. The factors contributing to this success were engrained in the company from the beginning – integrity, courage and a pursuit of excellence – characteristics that stemmed from the vision held by the company’s founders, including CEO John Lu.

Horizon offers its customers eight distinct series of motor yachts conceived, designed, tested, constructed and sea trialed at four state-of-the-art facilities encompassing 1 million square feet in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Horizon has been honored as “Best Asian Motor Yacht Builder”13 years in a row, is recognized as one of the Top 10 Global Superyacht Companies by The Superyacht Report, and is the first and only member of SYBAss (Superyacht Builder's Association) from the Far East.
