The MJM 50 is built using advanced, lightweight and strong epoxy composites, similar to those used in the high-tech aircraft and race boats. This results in a low vertical center of gravity, which minimizes rolling and provides a soft, stable and comfortable ride in rough seas.
MJM boats are certified ISO Category A Ocean, the highest possible rating for seaworthiness. This means it is built to withstand more severe sea states than most boats in its class

Without steadying sails, all powerboats roll...the MJM's less than most due to their low center of gravity. But, the single biggest opportunity for improving comfort afloat on a powerboat is to eliminate rolling. The 50z is the first yacht to offer this leading edge technology as standard equipment. Introduced 5 years ago, over 1,500 Seakeeper units are now in use worldwide, mostly on large custom motoryachts. The Seakeeper resists rather than reacts to the tendency of a boat to roll as it is spinning at 8,000 RPM to create it's stabilizing inertia. The vessel just doesn't roll and seems very solid without any herky-jerky motion.
