This has been a 6-year project from start to finish. Three different engines and finally decided on a Sterling built 525 SCI Mercury racing engine. Even though I built this boat to be able to go in the ocean it belongs on the lake. For those of you that know me you realize the depth of this build. Sommer's Marine was involved with most of the work along with many other local designers and builders. It is truly a unique boat but in the past 5 years I've moved to Florida. Even though I built it for the ocean environment I'm in a community that fishes and I'm getting back to my roots in the outdoors, fishing quite often and really enjoying it. As much as I love what I built, it no longer fits my lifestyle and I really have no offshore buddies down here to enjoy it with! I put it in the water one time to test it down here and that's it. The boat accelerates incredibly and performs extremely well! I have six figures into this boat, That being said I know how this works! You never get out of it what you got into it! If you or anyone you know has a serious interest in the boat please have them pm me. I obviously would like to see this boat stay in Michigan as sommers can provide a lot of support along with the other designers and builders. There's been so many improvements done to this boat I'm going to actually put an ad and detail the whole build. I'm just putting this out as a feeler! PM me with questions directly! If you want to personally test drive it, it'll give you a good excuse to come to Florida for a couple days and I have a boat slip. The boat is parked in a garage and doesn't stay in the water at all. And if you know about 525s the motor is closed cooling and I have CMI dry headers on it So even if you do use it in the ocean you're not getting salt water through the block. It's been 5 years and a lot of sweat, equity and researching to build this one of a kind boat with Ferrari design patents.
