Com-Pac 23D owners tend to value the boat’s easy-to-handle cruising character and the confidence that comes with a compact sailboat that is simple to manage. The fiberglass hull and straightforward layout fit the kind of low-fuss ownership many sailors appreciate in a smaller cruiser. The Yanmar diesel auxiliary is a strong match for owners who like dependable, efficient power when motoring in and out of harbors. Practical cruising touches like the onboard water and holding tank capacities support comfortable short trips and weekend use. Overall, this boat stands out as a tidy, manageable cruiser that makes good use of its space.

I am looking for a new captain for this rare 1998 Com-Pac 23D, Déjà Vu. This is one of only 35 produced with the Yanmar 9hp inboard diesel engine (397 hours.) The boat has been garage kept and carefully maintained and has been sailed on lake Michigan and lake Mendota. I am the second owner. The included trailer has been upgraded with electric-over-hydraulic braking and LED lighting, providing safer towing and launching.
The boat is in sail-ready condition with many recent upgrades including foil rudder, bimini, boom tent, new interior cushions, and a new mainsail.
Overview of Com-Pac:The Com-Pac 23D is a well-built, stable pocket cruiser. Known for its solid construction and forgiving handling, the 23D is ideal for both new sailors and experienced cruisers seeking a dependable, trailerable sailboat. It’s actually an innovative and serious trailerable cruiser, enhancing Com-Pac’s reputation for building tough boats with well-thought-out details.
