Please note that I have recently lowered the price of this boat, as I need to sell it within the next three weeks. If you look at similar offers on this website, you'll see that it is an incredible price. There is nothing wrong with the boat, it's not because it's in bad shape, it's because I will be in bad shape if I don't sell it right away, It is worth it for me to take this financial hit so I can have the Peace of Mind of not having to worry about the boat for another year and the expenses that go with it. My misfortune could be an excellent opportunity for whoever decides to purchase it.
This 23’ Daysailer is beautiful to look at and a treat to sail; it handles OK, you dles well, tacks with ease, and powers up quickly with its large sail area. The planning hull is responsive to the tiller, and the wide beam makes it stable. Had a Catalina 22 with a 600-pound weighted swing keel that was a pain in the neck to crank and was susceptible to breaking. Unlike Catalina, this O’Day has 1,200 lb of lead ballast and a weighted keel, which significantly improves performance and safety. Another feature that makes it a very desirable daysailer Oh is that it has a draft of only 2 feet. You will greatly appreciate those shallow bays, lakes, and sounds. Beautiful profile, easy to sail, and could sleep 4 adults and two children. One of the most popular daysailors ever built. Solid hull with no blisters or cracks. Great boat for shallow Bay or lake waters, with a draft of only two feet. Julie
