Eagle
Herreshoff Eagle carries the classic look and graceful presence that owners of traditional daysailers consistently admire. Its fiberglass hull fits the kind of durable, low-fuss construction many sailors value for regular use. The Eagle’s daysailer format is well suited to easy, rewarding outings under sail, with a straightforward feel that appeals to owners who want simplicity on the water. Its size makes it a comfortable choice for relaxed coastal cruising, afternoon sails, and casual time aboard. As a classic Herreshoff design, it stands out for the timeless character and elegant profile that owners tend to prize most.

1978 Herreshoff Eagle 22 - "Mint Julep"
If you've ever wanted to be a pirate, your ship awaits.
Mint Julep is a distinctive Herreshoff Eagle 22 that has received considerable care and attention
during my ownership. I've touched virtually every part of her, including having the distinctive barn-
door rudder rebuilt.
She comes with two sets of sails, a Yamaha 6 HP outboard, and a trailer that was completely
refurbished this past spring 2026. She has good bottom paint and has been stored out of the water
on bunks.
She is in good, usable condition. Fully cockpit rigged. but I want to represent her honestly. The deck
paint. is beginning to show wear and the wheel would benefit form fresh varnish.
The centerboard is currently not completely operational and will require attention. My expectation is
that the boat will need to be hauled, the board removed and evaluated. and it may require repair of
recasting. I have not obtained a repair estimate, so prospective buyers should understand this
upfront.
I'm at the point where I'd like Mint Julep to go to someone who appreciates traditional boats, enjoys
working on them, and will continue taking care of her.
She has tremendous character, beautiful traditional lines. She deserves an owner who will enjoy her
and take her to the next level.
Located in Palm, Coast, Florida.
Boat, Yamaha 6 HP outboard and refurbished trailer included.
Asking $12,000.
Length:22ft
